Problems as opportunities …
After a break in the blogging world I return now. If believing horoscope, then 2010 will bring a lot of career opportunities into my life, cannot wait. I have quite a lot of energy and a need to focus on some new challenges. You get, what You think and want.
During Christmas I managed to finish one book within few days. Some time ago I discovered the book when surfing in the web and thought I would like to read it. Now that I have read, I can warmly recommend it to the ones who are in the door step of a new career or who want to change their life in that area. The book is written by Tina Seelig and the title is “What I wish I knew when I was 20″.
One thought that I really liked from the book and agree with – don’t make excuses if You are unable to do something. The only one (thing) to blame is Yourself.
The book (almost) ended with these words. I am quoting her, as I like the ideas and want to share with everyone …
“Hopefully the stories in this book underscore the idea that boundless possibilities result from extracting yourself from your comfort zone, being willing to fail, having a healthy disregard for the impossible, and seizing every opportunity to be fabulous. Yes, these actions inject chaos into Your life and keep off-balance. But they also take You places you couldn’t even have imagined and provide a lens through which to see problems as opportunities.”

Hey! Happy New Year 2010! We had spoken many times about horoscopes, and it’s funny how I’ve never mentioned your Chinese horoscope to you:)
You’re a Rooster like my brother, and well, I don’t really see any similarity between you and him! I’ve read a little bit about it and it seems that on some points you’re exactly like one. Among them,…
“You probably have a wry sense of humor, meaning it has a clever and often ironically or grimly humorous quality about it.” – hehe, pretty true
“It’s likely you are great at doing projects thanks to your outstanding organizational skills. You tend to go about your work in the most efficient manner, aided by your keen eye for detail.” – or maybe it’s just your scandinavian attribute:)
“You have a tendency to nag too much.” – or probably a woman’s attribute?:)
===
I think I’ve also told you that I don’t really believe in horoscopes (western or chinese). Though I don’t deny that I have some strong geminian attributes in me:)
Above all, I admire very much your motivation for self-improvement and always seeking for new challenges. Speaks much more for the attractive person you are(a Rooster/Geminian attribute?):-)

This is rat: “Your charm serves you well as you are probably sociable and usually enjoy parties. You likely have a wide circle of friends, especially since you are probably attractive to members of the opposite sex.
Nevertheless you are really a private person and, despite appearances, only allow a few people into your inner circle. You cherish those dearly and will do almost anything for them.”

Asia, my apologies, I do tend to have a weakness for editing my writing.
As for me, I am a Tiger!
You are not afraid to blaze new trails, and, given your independent streak, you’re more than willing to go it alone if necessary.
You tend to be very affectionate towards family and friends and charitable to everyone, being especially touched by those most in need.

Couldn’t agree more. Let’s go to trans-siberia

wow there’s a discussion here… can it really be that 6 billion people in the world are divided into 12 and each 1/12 is the same? Like me and other roosters … hehe as far as i read for Tigers it should be a really good year this 2010 …
Foo Cheong, Your proposal sounded funny. Asia already knows about the travel plan or she has to guess?

Actually,… Chinese horoscope is much more detailed compared to Western horoscope (accuracy is not known though).
For example the 12 years in every cycle, and then further into their own elements. For example, I was born in 1986, and in the year of Tiger (2010 Western Year), my element would be Fire. Those Tigers born in 1974 would have Wood element.
The upcoming Tiger would be a Golden Tiger.
But nevermind the accuracy, isn’t it good to have a positive thinking that things will be good for the upcoming year?:)
I don’t think she did, but now she does!!!
